Epic Cast and Crew

Opening March 6
a comedy
of

EPIC Proportions
by Larry Cohen and David Crane

Set in the 1930s, EPIC PROPORTIONS tells the story of

two brothers, Benny and Phil, who go to the Arizona

desert to be extras in the huge Biblical epic Exeunt Omnes.

Things move very quickly in this riotous comedy and

before you know it, Phil is directing the movie, and Benny

is starring in it. To complicate matters further they both

fall in love with Louise, the assistant director in charge of

the extras. Along the way there are gladiator battles, the

Ten Plagues and a cast of thousands portrayed by four

other actors.

Epic Proportions will run Saurday March 6 through Sunday

March 28 at Chemically Imbalanced Theatre.

Why Project 891?

Project 891 Theatre Company is a new theatre company in Chicago that focuses on lesser known and "undiscovered" plays.  Project 891 was the name given to the Federal Theatre Project's New York unit.  The New York unit saw the production of some of the most inventive and groundbreaking theatrical events of the 1930's including Orson Welles' "Voodoo" Macbeth, Dr Faustus and The Cradle Will Rock.  It is in this same spirit that we "throw our hat into the ring" with a new theatrical endeavor.  Join us....
